Did you play with Southside Johnny in Atlantic City on May 26, 2012? — Asked by Anonymous

Nope. I’ve never played in Atlantic City.

I played my tune “Seen the Light” on the local Cincinnati news. The show they’re promoting tomorrow at Southgate House is sold out, so that’s kinda pointless, but I appreciate the sentiment. Check it out.

I made an update to the webpage.  It looks a little cleaner and I’ve also added a “Media” page with lots of videos and streaming audio.  My tour with Margaret Darling starts tomorrow and all the dates are up in the Tour section of the website.  We’re kicking it all off with a house show in Louisville, which should be a blast.  If you have any questions or need details about any of the gigs, let me know and I’ll be in touch.  See you on the road!

Happy October!  That means it’s less than a month til FEST 10.  Check out the killer lineup.  I play Saturday at the Lunchbox.  http://thefestfl.com/fest10schedule.html

Where can i find lyrics to your songs? Thank you very much. — Asked by Anonymous

I don’t have them published online anywhere right now, but if you let me know which songs you’re interested in, I’d be happy to send them to you.

We closed the show with a cover of The Magnetic Fields’ “Busby Berkeley Dreams”.

“My Friend John”, one of my personal favorites.

For the past few months, I’ve been backing up the wonderful Margaret Darling at some shows around town.  We’re now in the process of demo’ing and planning out a full length record, and I’m really excited about it.  She’s a fantastic songwriter and I’m having a great time being a part of it.  Brenna took some videos of our gig at the Southgate House the other night, and I thought I’d share them here so you can get an idea of the songs.  Hope you enjoy them!  The incredibly talented Mike Ingram (Margaret’s bandmate in the Seedy Seeds) is on vocals and percussion.  This first song is called “Caroline”.

May tour

I’m hitting the road for a bit in May.  Most of the dates are posted in the Tour section.  It’s got some of my favorite towns with some of my favorite friends, so check it out!

An old, unreleased song from The Wading Girl days called “Oh! Ursula”.  I’d still like to give this one a proper recording sometime.
