Driving down to Gainesville today to record on some tunes with Greenland is Melting. I’ll be playing a set at the Lunchbox on Friday while I’m down there, before GIM’s tour kickoff show at the Atlantic on Friday night. Let’s hang out, Gainesville!

Got some new t-shirts from the good folks at Press Press Merch in Roanoke, VA yesterday. They were designed by the inimitable Joshua Mikel (Sharkguts Designs) and they look sharp. We’ve got girl sizes, too! Woohoo!

New record, tours, domain name
Hello friends!
Lots of new things going on. First off, we’ve got a new 7” record that will be available to y’all in about a month. If you wanna hear the songs, head on over to our band page on Facebook. Second, lots of tour dates coming up. I’m gonna be opening for the wonderful Will Kimbrough to start off the month of March, then promptly hitting the road with my bff’s in Greenland is Melting for a few weeks. I’ll be home in time for some full band fun at CINCYPUNK FEST, then back on the road in May. Finally, I’ve registered the domain name www.thevirginiablues.com which will direct right here and you can find all the info you could ever want. It’s slowly getting warmer! See you soon!

August Tour

I’m headed up to a cottage on a lake in Michigan tonight to finish up a bunch of recordings with the inimitable Bradley Rutherford Snider. I’ll post some videos and updates and such over the weekend!

So I’ve decided to make an attempt to be more hands-on in the whole connecting-with-people-and-keeping-them-informed-about-stuff arena. Since Facebook is a bit of a clustercuss and Msypace has slowly gone the way of the buffalo, I’ve decided this will be the place where I’ll post the most up-to-date information.
